Spousal Maintenance

Rachel Li, Attorney at Law • Plano Divorce Attorney

Texas family law does not currently give the courts the power to award alimony in a divorce. Under certain circumstances, the court may award what is termed “spousal maintenance,” but this award is almost always limited to a maximum duration of three years.

As your attorney, Rachel Li will evaluate the facts of your case to determine whether spousal support is appropriate, and if so, what amount and duration of support is reasonable. Ms. Li will advocate for your cause, guide you through the complexities of the law, and develop a legal approach to meet the individual needs of your case.
